What is First Bell?
First Bell is Charlotte's premier outdoor block party and amateur boxing showcase, combining live amateur boxing, music, food vendors, local businesses, and community engagement into one exciting daytime experience.

Is this event family-friendly?
Yes. First Bell is designed to be a community-focused event welcoming families, sports fans, and supporters of amateur athletics.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes. A variety of food vendors and beverage options will be available throughout the event.
Will alcohol be available?
Yes. Alcohol will be available for purchase through our licensed alcohol vendor during the event.
Guests must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Is parking available?
Several public parking decks and surface lots are available throughout Uptown Charlotte within walking distance of Victoria Yards.
We encourage rideshare services whenever possible.
What happens if it rains?
Event updates regarding weather will be communicated through our website and social media channels. Event organizers reserve the right to modify schedules due to weather or safety concerns.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes.
Tickets will be available online in advance and may also be purchased at the door, subject to availability.
Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.
Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated by event organizers.
Fighter Registration
Does registering guarantee me a bout?
No.
Submitting a registration form does not guarantee placement on the event card.
All bouts are subject to:
Matchmaking approval
Opponent availability
USA Boxing sanctioning requirements
Medical clearance
Final event approval
What organization sanctions the boxing matches?
All bouts will be conducted under USA Boxing rules and regulations.
Who can register to fight?
Eligible amateur boxers who meet USA Boxing membership and competition requirements may submit a registration form for consideration.
Are youth fighters allowed?
Yes.
Fighters under 18 years old must have parent or legal guardian approval and complete all required registration documentation.

What happens if I miss weigh-ins?
Missing the official weigh-in will result in removal from the event card.
No exceptions will be made without prior approval from event organizers and USA Boxing officials.
What should I bring to weigh-ins?
Fighters should bring:
USA Boxing Membership Card
Photo Identification
Required medical documentation
Any additional items requested by USA Boxing officials
When will I know if I have a fight?
Selected fighters and coaches will be contacted after matchmaking review.
Bout assignments are not finalized until officially confirmed by event organizers.
Can I request an opponent?
You may submit preferences, but all matchups are determined by event organizers and USA Boxing guidelines.
Vendor Information
How do I become a vendor?
Complete the Vendor Interest Form on our website.
Our team will review submissions and contact approved vendors with additional details.
What types of vendors are accepted?

Will power be available?
Yes.
Limited power will be available onsite; however, vendors are strongly encouraged to bring their own generators as a backup to ensure uninterrupted operation.
Please indicate your power requirements on your vendor application.
Are tents provided?
No.
Vendors should be prepared to provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and display materials unless otherwise communicated by event organizers.
When will vendors receive setup information?
Approved vendors will receive detailed setup instructions, load-in schedules, parking information, and event guidelines approximately one week prior to the event.
